Sizing

Solar pool heating systems require a solar collector area equal to 50 to 70% of the pool's surface area.

How it Works

  • Solar heat is absorbed by solar "collectors" placed on the roof, shade structure or other location in the sun.
  • The solar heat is delivered to a heat exchanger using a low-energy circulator.
  • The pool water passes through the heat exchanger placed in the pools filtration system piping and picks up the solar heat delivering it to the pool.
